Apart from our role as supplier of fashionable and quirky furnishings, we also offer the following services: furniture refinishing, custom upholstery and slipcovers, as well as custom window coverings. You can read more about each service below or give us a call or email with your questions.
Refinishing Furniture
A commonly requested service for our customers looking to update or radically change one of their existing pieces. Anything from a nursery that now needs to fit into an older child’s room, or perhaps a unique piece that has been in the family for generations which simply needs a fresher look to fit in with your home’s more modern décor. If you email a picture along with a description of what you are hoping to have done, we can generally give you an idea of cost without having to see the piece in person.
Upholstery and Slipcover Services
At Furniture Salad, we pride ourselves on transforming older pieces of furniture into new gems. We offer both re-upholstery and slipcover options as a way of updating the furniture in your home. Estimates available with a photograph (or two) along with a description of the project you have in mind. We are happy to either help source the fabric, or use fabric you provide us with.
Window Coverings
We offer expert drapery services for the window covering projects in your home. Drapery is available in a variety of styles: pinch pleat, gather, grommets, roman shades, and balloon treatments –all with or without black out (especially handy for afternoon naps and long summer days!).
